The Alabama HBCU Consortium is an initiative focused on collaboration and opportunity among historically black colleges and universities across Alabama.
The Challenge
The goal of this project was to create a unified visual identity that represented the consortium’s educational mission while remaining adaptable across both digital and print applications. The identity needed to feel modern, recognizable, and culturally grounded.
Case Study
As the graphic designer, I led the development of the visual identity, creating multiple logo concepts, selecting color palettes and supporting patterns, and designing business cards and promotional pin concepts. I presented several creative directions for review before refining the selected concept into the final brand identity.
